After restructuring the German service and sales organisation in a legally independent business unit, MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH was created in June 2003. It is the largest sales and distribution company within the MAN Nutzfahrzeuge group and has over 5000 employees and 900 apprentices within Germany.

“Schwere Reihe” – high performance, safety and comfort in our heavyweight models
Our “Schwere Reihe“ business unit is responsible for developing and producing TGA models over an admissible gross vehicle weight of 18 tons. This unit has sites in Penzberg, Salzgitter and Munich.
“Leichte und Mittlere Reihe” – the right solution for every need
The “L“ business unit is responsible for developing and mounting trucks with an admissible gross vehicle weight of between 6 and 25 tons as well as producing the respective cabs. This unit operates out of Steyr, Austria.
“Sonderfahrzeuge” – special jobs require special solutions
The “X“ business unit, located in Vienna, Austria, is responsible for developing and producing special vehicles over an admissible gross vehicle weight of 18 tons as well as special vehicles of the X range, which are characterised by a modular cab.
