TGX sets new standards in long-haul transport

The MAN TGX truck Series, winner of several coveted prizes, among them “Truck of the Year 2008”, sets new standards in transport efficiency for long-haul transport. Precisely tailored to long-haul transport - the new EcoLion long-haul semitrailer truck.
For the engine, you have the choice between new, efficient engines with MAN PURE DIESEL® technology* or you can opt for the powerful engines with SCR technology with MAN AdBlue®.

    Efficient and economical with comprehensive standard equipment and adaptable packages - these features distinguish the new 4x2 400 to 540 HP semitrailer tractors.

    Reduction of fuel consumption by optimising energy use through air compressors which can be switched off. Economical with MAN TipMatic gearbox - automatic mode - as standard.
    Safer transport and increased traffic safety with ESP as standard or with the safety package containing the lane guard system (LGS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
  • New Euro 5 engines
    The choice is yours: either new Euro 5 EGR engines with the straightforward MAN PURE DIESEL® technology* without additives with a specification from 320 to 480 HP or SCR technology equipped with MAN AdBlue® with powerful engines ranging from 320 to 540 HP.
  • Economical due to sophisticated aerodynamics
    4 % more favourable drag coefficient (Cw) and a lightweight construction reduce fuel consumption and decrease driving noise by 30 % compared to its TGA predecessor.
  • Safety with driver assistance systems
    Electronic stability program (ESP) partly as standard, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), the lane guard system (LGS), brake assistant and Continuous Damping Control (CDC) ensure better safety to protect the driver and freight.
